NEIGHBORHOOD RELATIONS COMMITTEEThe committee will work to collectively brainstorm ways to strengthen the relationship between Drake students and other neighborhood residents. It is a space for students to find a community of people who are passionate about forming personal relationships with the neighborhood and learning about University-community relations. SOCIAL JUSTICE DIALOGUE: ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICEThis event is a part of the Environmental Justice Week at Drake University hosted by DEAL. Join the Communication Action Board and DEAL as we discuss what environmental justice, environmental injustice, environmental privilege, and various different impacts of injustice including; environmental classism, sexism, and racism. This will be a place for people who do and do not know about the topic to learn and educate one another.

Join CAB at our Social Justic Diologue on Youth Homelessness on October 11th in Herriott Hall. Come engage in a meaningful conversation about experiences of homeless youth within Polk County and discuss ways in which we can learn about and help those affected by this issue.
Also learn about Reggie's Sleepout 2016 on October 22nd to help make an impact on homeless youth in our community. |
